To my surprise two people close to me were squabbling over who would be the leader. I was even more surprised when it turned out to be my husband Joe Bill and our 7 year old goddaughter! As you'd expect, Sydney Marie Stewart made herself the leader in the pool every time! JB and Syd have lots of fun swimming together. She really tickled us when she asked JB, the former lifeguard, if he'd remembered all of the things that SHE'D TAUGHT HIM! Syd is a teacher in and out of the pool. Even though she's just learning to type herself, she's teaching 3 year old Jack how to type. Syd is a very observant child. One day she noticed that I was able to type without looking at the keyboard. She's enthusiastic about a typing program I bought her. Because she's really bright and focused, she'll be typing like a pro in no time. Syd is just a wealth of information. When she heard that JB was going to use Uber she warned him not to get one that was too expensive!!! Jack had instructions for me. The other day we were going to walk outside to get the mail. We had just gone out of the door near the swimming pool when I told him that we needed to go back inside because I had to go to the potty. He pointed out that I could go pee pee outside the way that James does when we're all out at the pool! I thanked him for the suggestion...then we both went back inside! Joe Bill and I always feel that we're lucky to have The Stewarts and Melroses in our lives. Their children bring us great joy! Love, D2
