Gorgeous Sydney, who is 5 1/2 years old, is a brilliant child. Joe Bill and I often talk about how her brain never rests! Here’s a good example of how quick she is. One day Joe Bill, James and Baby Jack were in the same room with Syd and me. I commented that there were 3 JBs there because each of them has a middle name that starts with the letter ‘B.’ Syd immediately piped up and without missing a beat announced that her name is JB too.
With a big smile on her face she yelled: “I’M JULIA BRONCO!” She told us that she didn’t know why she picked that name but she liked it. Let me tell you, she now answers to the names Sydney Marie Stewart and Julia Bronco!
Adorable James, who is 4 years old, is very smart too. JB and I recently picked up Syd and James on a day when it was raining. James was getting his shoes all wet as he leaped from mud puddle to mud puddle. JB was thinking out loud when he asked: “Why do little boys jump from mud puddle to mud puddle?” James quickly announced: “Let’s look it up on the computer!” I’m sure that he said that because when we don’t know the answer to something or need to know the definition of a word we often look it up on the computer!
Sydney and James, who have ORANGE BLOOD on both sides of their family, are all dressed up for Game Day for the Texas-OU Game that will be played in the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on Saturday. It’s clear that they like to ‘Get Their Horns Up!’
Joe Bill and I love it when gorgeous Mommy Gigi, handsome Daddy Joel and beautiful Baby Jack come over to swim. The 5 of us have a lot of fun together. Jack really gets a big kick out spraying people with our hose. He even likes spraying himself!
I’ve included some pictures of Syd, James and nearly nineteen month old Jack playing together. Jack’s Daddy Joel is an Aussie. I thought that I’d get The Kids dressed up in Aussie clothes to surprise him! I think we should all say: “Aussie, Aussie, Aussie!”
I shot a VIDEO of Jack playing with Sydney and a Big Kid named Joe Bill! I know that the VIDEO is dark but I thought that you’d enjoy getting a sense of what it’s like at our house when Jack comes over to play.
Be sure to look at the VIDEO of Sydney doing the backstroke yesterday. She’s really a great swimmer. Last year it was so hot here that The Kids went swimming in our pool up until Halloween! Syd and James are hoping we’ll have a hot Fall this year too!
