WELCOME SAMUEL OLIVER STEWART!
Life has lots of wonderful changes and new beginnings for the Stewart Family.
That’s because Samuel Oliver Stewart arrived!
He came a little ahead of schedule. Beautiful Baby Sam is a sweetheart. Mommy Skyler, Daddy Jimmy, Big Sister Sydney, Big Brother James and their families are extremely happy!
We’ve all had fun over the Summer and things are great this Fall.
The other day Joe Bill and I went with Joel, Jack and Baby Ben to the Austin Zoo & Animal Sanctuary. It’s a sprawling place that has an unusual collection of animals and birds that needed to be rescued.
Jack, who’s 5, has been there before but Benny, who’s only 17 months old, was a new comer and enthusiastic sightseer. Both Jack and Benny adore animals. We loved seeing the look of wonderment when Benny saw animals much larger than he’d ever seen before. He never cried but you could tell that his quick brain was trying to process everything in front of him!
Jack told us at one point that he had to rush ahead because he was worried that his DaDa was going to get lost. Jack loves to mother everyone and make sure that things work out. Of course, his Daddy Joel, who’s traveled around the world, would never get lost at the Austin Zoo! Joe Bill and I might get lost…but not Daddy Joel!
Syd (9) and James (8) had fun going to camp together. This was the first time that James went to a sleep away camp. The Kids were thrilled that they got to ride together on the bus and that they saw each other everyday.
Joe Bill and I had a great time in Aspen this Summer. We celebrated the Fourth of July with our dear friend Peggy Oxford!
I’ve included a few cute pictures of Gigi with Baby Ben. I have to say that Syd, James, Jack and now Baby Ben love to brush their teeth!
This is the beginning of the Jewish New Year.
Joe Bill and I feel sad knowing that a lot of people are suffering because of the devastating Hurricanes, floods, wild fires, earthquakes, mass shootings and terrorist attacks. We hope that life gets better quickly for many who are victims of Mother Nature and the evil coming from mad men.
We hope and pray that you have a Happy and Healthy New Year!
Much Love, D2
