Syd 12, James 10 and Sammy 2 are great playmates. You’ll be able to tell their cute new Puppy named Rocky fits right in!
Staying in shape in Austin is a big deal. Before the Lockdown you’d always see people riding their bikes or jogging around town. Not so much anymore.
Sammy loves running around naked. In fact, he’s come up with an exercise plan for himself. It appears that he’s getting in shape for the Naked Olympics! We know that the 2020 Summer Olympics were cancelled but no one has said that there won’t be the 2020 Naked Summer Olympics!

Jack 8 and Benny 4 have a different way to stay in shape. Jack loves to whack Benny with a heavy pillow and Benny loves to be smacked around. Benny doesn’t even strike back at Jackie Boy. Benny just stands there and takes it like a man! Well, a short man who’s a thin man and a rather young man, but Benny takes it like a man!
I’ve included some pictures of a Fundraiser held earlier this year that Joel, who was born in Australia, helped organize. The money went to help fund the various Firefighting Teams who were battling the enormous disastrous fires in Australia.
Joel, Gigi, Jack, Benny, Jen, Joe Bill and I had a great time. There are lots of nice Aussies who live in Austin and I bet many of them were at this fun Party at Abel's On The Lake!

I want to show ya’ll some pictures of Skyler’s gorgeous, smart, fun, kind, thoughtful Grandmother B.A. Bentsen who recently passed away.
She was lovingly called Bebet.
B.A. filled her 98 years with good deeds, love and caring for her Family and anyone lucky enough to have her in their lives like Joe Bill and me.
She was the sweetest person I’ve ever known. B.A. made everyone she was talking to feel like they were the only person in the room. She was regal looking and always looked like she could be a member of the Royal Family. But the great thing about her was that she was funny, she had men just eating out of her hand and she was interested in knowing what everyone was doing.
Skyler’s Dad Lan (TaTa), Adele (Dell) and B.A. (Bebet) would drive from Houston to Austin so that they could celebrate Birthdays or special occasions with Skyler and her Family.
Senator Lloyd Bentsen said that his wife’s name B.A. stood for Best Asset. She was an asset and she was a real treasure.
B.A. dearly loved her Family and doted on her grown Children, their Spouses, her Grandchildren and her Great Grandchildren. She was the loveliest person who inspired everyone around her.
It was wonderful that B.A. could be at Sydney’s 3rd Birthday and her Piano Recital on the UT Campus.
Here in Austin B.A. was honored at the 2016 Texas Legacy Luncheon. Her Children, Grandchildren, many friends and admirers were there to show their love and support.
We all knew that B.A. was coming to the end of her remarkable life but that didn’t make her passing any easier.
I feel that we’re never ready for the ones we love to leave us. But B.A. left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She made us better people not because of what she said but because we watched what she did and how she lived her very special life.
I think that B.A. will live in everyone’s heart forever.
