I’ve always taken lots of pictures of Syd. Since she won’t pose for me I have to chase after her like I’m the paparazzi. She used to sit in my lap and look at the still photos I’d just taken on my little digital camera. Lately, I’ve finally figured out how to take some videos of her.
The other day Syd wanted to watch the video I’d shot of her and she told me: “I want to see ‘SYDNEY TV!’ I think that ‘SYDNEY TV’ is now her favorite show!
Syd helped me print some photos recently. At a certain point my printer turns pictures into a very fancy slideshow. Seeing photos of herself flashing in front of her simply captivated Syd. In fact, she pulled up a little chair and entertained herself by looking at numerous pictures of herself.
Some of Skyler and Jimmy’s friends and their children get together on Saturday afternoons for a music class. The kids sing along with the singer/musician. This will come as no surprise that Syd and Baby James are right up front, close to the singer, while the other children hang back and sit on the couches. Syd and Baby James were pounding on the table to the beat of the music. Jimmy got into the act by playing his harmonica. He was a big hit. Syd really gets into the music and looks adorable dancing. And we’ve discovered that Baby James’ TALENT is CLAPPING. He turns to the crowd, enthusiastically clapping loudly, smiling big and yelling: “Yea! Yea!” Bravo, Syd, Baby James and Jimmy!
It’s certainly clear that the Stewart children will never be considered boring wall flowers.
