When we were at Sydney and James’ elementary school the other day a cute little First Grade boy asked me if I was an Angel. I was surprised by his question. I quickly told him I wasn’t. My answer didn’t convince Leo. He asked me again. This time I had him touch my arm to show him that I was a real person.
It turns out that Leo overheard Syd introduce me to her friends saying that I’m her Godmother. Little Leo was standing near me and apparently he only heard the word God. I didn’t want him to think that I was a real Angel because I was afraid that he was going to ask me to perform a miracle. Who would want to disappoint a sweet little First Grader!!!!
It’s hard to believe that Sydney Marie Stewart has just turned 8. It seems like only yesterday when that gorgeous little girl was cradled in the arms of her gorgeous Mommy Skyler.
Sydney celebrated her Birthday by having a Slumber Party with a few of her girlfriends. They had lots of fun doing some arts and crafts projects.
Syd wore her helmet in the house part of the time because she was on her hover board. James wore his helmet too but he was acting like he was in a Witness Protection Program! He even covered his face with his helmet during dinner when he ate with The Girls! Apparently, it didn’t get in the way when he was eating the delicious mint chocolate Birthday cake that Mommy had picked out. By the way, I’ve included a picture of 2 glamorous women in our lives: Syd’s Aunt Kate and Grandmother Dell (Adele).
I’ve posted several cute shots of adorable Jack that I took at our house during The Holidays. The darling little 3 year old loved playing with our singing toys. I’ve left them out because Jack still likes singing Christmas songs with them!
I want to share some wonderful pictures that Jack’s parents, Gigi and Joel, took on their travels around the World. Because of Gigi’s recent promotion to a leadership position in Facebook’s Global Division she’s been to London, Dublin, Brazil, India, Singapore and Australia. Joel and Jack have been on some of the trips.
