While Sydney is on a fabulous vacation with her Daddy, Grandmother Ama and other family members in China, Joe Bill and I are thrilled that we’ve been able to spend extra time with Baby James. That little boy is incredibly sweet. He smiles so much that he reminds me of Miss America contestants…but the difference is that he’s really, really happy and he doesn’t have to put Vaseline on his teeth to help him smile!
Baby James has loved playing with his favorite toys here without Sydney standing over his shoulder muscling him out of the way. In the category of ‘When the cat’s away, the mice will play’…when he first arrives he runs over to Syd’s favorite Barbie doll house and pushes a button at the bottom of the shower. He likes hearing the sound of running water and a recorded voice saying: “Shower starting” followed by hearing Barbie singing: “La la la la la la.” Baby James always chimes in with: the “La la la la la la” chorus. It’s so cute to watch him. Of course, we’ve still been going to Abel’s for Date Night with Party Boy Baby James. Syd always flirts with handsome car parker Yaz…well, Baby James won’t be outdone. He enthusiastically greets Yaz, does a high 5 with him and then tells Yaz: “It’s Date Night at Abel’s on The Lake!” Baby James remains a favorite with the staff. Who knows when they’re going to name a drink or dish after him! Love, D2
