I’ve noticed that Sydney Marie Stewart is channeling Jack LaLane, who was the original fitness guru before exercise became fashionable with celebrities like Jane Fonda and Richard Simmons. Wearing his trademark jumpsuit, he had an exercise program that started in 1951 and remained on TV for 34 years.
LaLane was known for doing spectacular stunts showing off his strength. When he was 43, preaching the benefits of regular exercise and a good diet, he swam the Golden Gate Channel while towing a 2,500 pound cabin cruiser!
I think that somehow Syd has seen some of those stunts. She’s one strong little girl.
WARNING: Don’t ever arm wrestle Sydney because you’ll lose!
Lately she’s started pulling James around. The other night she hooked Theo’s dog leash to his jeans’ belt loop and then began dragging her sweet little brother across the living room floor.
James thought it was fun at first but when he wanted her to stop, Sydney Marie LaLane Stewart kept pulling him. Finally, I unhooked the leash, literally, freeing James from the grips of his older sister, who’s now known as ‘Super Girl!’
My guess is that when James is a little bigger he’ll be dragging Sydney across the living room floor. We’ll all get to see how she likes the shoe being on the other foot…or the leash being on the other jeans’ belt loop!
By the way, during the Summer, Syd and James were wearing a Tee shirt which read: ‘My Mom Is Hot’ but now The Kids have on a Tee shirt that says: ‘My Daddy is Cool, Tough, Strong & Fearless!’
Daddy Jimmy is a real star and his highly successful www.do512.com website, which he Co-Founded about 5 years ago, is the perfect place to look when you’re considering all kinds of entertainment in Austin.
Jimmy is the ‘Go-To-Guy’ for SXSW (South by Southwest also called South By,) which is one of the largest music festivals in the country. He’s working day and night right now. Do512 and Shiner Beer have just announced ANOTHER FABULOUS FREE PARTY during SXSW called THE BIG ONE 2012 that’ll be at the brand new Belmont on Saturday, March 17th starting at noon. Lots of great bands will be performing. There will be FREE BOOZE. Also, take a look at Jimmy’s innovative ‘Do512 Lounge Sessions’ on his website. Jimmy describes them as: ‘a series of live in-studio performances by national artists in a private, intimate setting.’ The retro Lounge, which has the feel of a speakeasy located near Jimmy’s office in a funky compound in South Austin, is really cool. It’s no surprise that the Sessions have been a huge success!
Other pictures I’ve included are of Sydney looking like we’re having fashion photo shoots. I pick out the locations but it’s Syd, who decides how she poses herself. The girl must have seen fashion show catwalks because she certainly has the moves down.
Syd has an easy elegance when she puts on something formal and she has a playful quality when she’s wearing something casual. It’s clear that she’s picture perfect!
And while Syd imagines herself as a Princess, James considers himself a Knight In Shining Armor. He was dressed that way right before he went to bed the other night! The Stewarts don’t have to worry about security when Prince Charming James Bentsen Stewart is around! Good job, James!
