Joe Bill and I hope that you’re having a Healthy and Happy New Year!
We had the good fortune of spending New Year’s Eve with Sydney and James. They’d had fun during The Holidays visiting their out of town relatives. Now they were ready to party in Austin!
I decided that Syd and James should dress in red as a symbol for ‘Painting the Town Red’ for New Year’s Eve! They’re both so cute and are always up for a party. They toasted 2013 with apple juice in large red plastic cups with fancy straws. We went for the straight stuff…we didn’t add any water this time!
During The Holidays when Sydney wasn’t coloring, drawing mazes with Her Kid Brother or reading books, she was dressed up in party clothes looking at our Christmas decorations. I’ve included some shots in this story. I plan to show more in the next “Chronicle.”
One afternoon Syd looked gorgeous wearing a white ball gown with a pink tiara on her beautiful little head. She was looking at some of the lovely Christmas cards we’ve received and some of our ornaments. When she came across a decoration on our tree that had a picture of her, Joe Bill and James, Syd was beaming ear to ear. Meredith White Garner’s adorable little boys, John John & Will….or as James likes to call them: John & Will Will…made the ornament. It was sweet of them to think of us during The Holidays!
