Joe Bill and I've always said that Sydney, James and Jack are Super Smart. Here are a couple of examples that I want to share with you: When First Grader Sydney (7) was showing Preschooler Jack (3) what she calls a Roly Poly I asked her what other names people call these harmless little bugs. I was thinking that she'd say Doodle Bug or Pill Bug. But instead she wowed us when she said it was an ARMADILLIDIIDAE. I told her that was wrong but I quickly checked my cell phone. Smarty pants Syd was right. A ROLY POLY IS AN ARMADILLIDIIDAE! Good job, Sydney! Joe Bill and I recently improved the security system for our outside gate. We told Syd and James the new security code. I'm going to give you a FICTIONAL code number and let you know what James, who's not yet 6, would say. Pretending that the code is 8585, James would say that the code is EIGHT THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY FIVE! It's common for James' math brain to interpret things in a unique way. The other night Jack had fun decorating a Disney Vanity set with some white lights that I had left over from Christmas. When we'd finished the little guy looked at me and smiled while he enthusiastically asked me: "DeDe, don't you just love it?" Of course, I said: "YES!" I've included some cute pictures of The Kids with their parents. Sydney always loves it when her Mommy Skyler tickles her. Both Syd and James had fun on Daddy Jimmy's scooter when they were on a weekend trip to Port Aransas. Jack looks cute in his pictures with his Daddy Joel at our house. I posted an adorable shot of Jack with his Mommy Gigi that was taken when they were on a family vacation in Fiji. By the way, spoken like a true Aussie, Jack told me that the beaches in Australia are more beautiful than the ones in Fiji!
