While the East Coast and Midwest have been experiencing earlier than normal chilly weather, that hasn't been the case here in Austin. Living in the Sun Belt certainly has it's advantages. Sydney, James and their little sidekick Jack have been enjoying our warm temperatures by continuing to swim in our pool. The water's too cold for me but the 3 cute 'Polar Bear Cubs' have been able to convince Joe Bill that the water is warm even when it isn't! I've included some pictures of Jack, who learned how to swim this Summer, spraying the hose at his two older pals! I'm not sure who had more fun...the Sprayer or his Targets! The adorable Trio also love to have picnics, even at night. They started their meal outside by the pool but later moved into our kitchen. Yogurt is one of their favorite things to eat. Sometimes there's nearly as much yogurt on their darling faces as on their plates. Here's a Do It Yourself Tip: If you need Plaster of Paris for one of your construction projects, and you don't have any, you can use Yogurt...it seems to stick as well as plaster! One of my goals is to make sure that we have a Happy House. JB and I don't want The Kids to cry, or whine or be unpleasant. I realize that this isn't possible all of the time but as I said, it's one of my goals. Sometimes Sydney likes to create a little chaos when she leaves. Mommy Skyler helped keep things happy by tickling her little girl right before they left. Sydney loves to pull her flexible and svelte Mommy around. Even James got into the act. As you can tell, we had a Happy House! The last pictures I included were taken at Joe Bill's Law Firm's fun Halloween Party. Syd and James couldn't go this year because they had to be in school but Jack was able to come with us. Poor Jack was afraid of everyone who was wearing a costume...and that was just about everybody. He was too scared to put on the elaborate Spider-Man costume he had, so he went as, what I call, 'casual' Spider-Man. He wore a soft Spider-Man tee shirt and his pajama bottoms. Jack did like the candy that he collected. It seems that Christmas is more his kind of Holiday. He's already talking about what Santa's going to bring him. He wants a car like his Mommy's! Of course, he's too young to drive but the little guy knows what he wants! We hope all of your days are HAPPY ones! Love, D2
