HAPPY SUMMER!
Joe Bill and I hope that you’re having a great Summer. Our godchildren: Sydney, James, Jack and Baby Ben are having lots of fun.
We hope that you had a Wonderful 4th of July Weekend! I have some pictures from our Aspen vacation.
I’ve included one photo that shows St. Mary Catholic Church, which is my favorite Church in Aspen. The Cottonwood Trees are shedding and it looks like it’s snowing in July!
We had fun going to a fabulous Smokey Robinson Concert at the Music Tent with our close friend Peggy McCafferty Oxford. We had a great time with her at the colorful Aspen Parade and later watching the spectacular Fireworks Display on Ajax Mountain.
I’m posting some terrific pictures that Mommy Skyler took of Syd & James at a special Fourth of July Party. The Dynamic Duo were in Houston visiting their Grandparents and Great Grandmother. By the way, they were in Big D earlier this Summer to be with their Dallas Grandparents and Family.
When Joe Bill and I first looked at the pictures we were impressed when we thought that a young gymnast was doing a Cirque Soleil type exhibition for the children at the Party. When we looked closer, we realized that it was Sydney Marie Stewart, who was the Star! As you can tell, the gorgeous 8 year old is both strong and graceful! Our favorite Child Fashionista Icon looks great in the stylish leotard/bathing suit her Mommy bought her.
James is always a ‘Scene Stealer.’ The Motto: ‘Monkey See, Monkey Do’ came to mind when I saw Mommy Skyler’s cute photo of her animated and adorable 7 year old!
Skyler and Jimmy enjoyed being in NYC where Skyler was able to spend some time with her sisters Kendall and Kate. It’s clear from the picture I’ve included that the gorgeous Trio always has fun when they get together.
Syd, Jack and Baby Ben were playing at the Melroses’ house recently. Syd and James think of Jack as their little Brother and now they feel the same way about Baby Ben. Jack and Baby Ben along with their Parents Gigi and Joel spent the Holiday with Gigi’s Family.
