Once again we had a great time over the weekend with Gigi, Joel and Jack. It’s hard to believe that precious little boy will be 2 years old in only 10 days!
Jack spent the night with Sydney and James at our house as both sets of parents had ‘Date Night.’ When I asked Sydney what she was going to say to Gigi and Joel when they got here, she told me that she’d let them know that she loved them and that she appreciated them bringing Jack over. Syd and James are always so excited when they’re going to be with Jack.
Sydney and Jack both love to dance. I think that they look cute in both VIDEOS.
I’ve posted a lot of pictures today because I think that they’ll give you an insight as to how Sydney and James approach life. Joe Bill and I often talk about how focused Syd is when she’s drawing, reading or watching something. She’ll continue paying attention to what she’s doing, no matter, what’s going on around her.
This is a perfect example: James wanted to hug and kiss his older sister but because Sydney was focused on drawing she totally ignored her Kid Brother. I want to add that when Syd finished her project, she helped James write his name and was affectionate to him.
I have some cute pictures of The Kids with Mommy Skyler and Daddy Jimmy. Syd and James hadn’t seen their Daddy for 8 days because he’d been busy with his Do512 & Do512 Lounge Events during SXSW (South by Southwest), which is the largest Music Festival of its kind in the world. Jimmy remains the “Go To Guy” for South by. Thousands of people come to Austin, to hear music, participate in the Interactive Events and see new films.
Skyler took Syd and James to Houston to visit their Grandparents BeBe (Lynne,) TaTa (Lan,) and Dell (Adele) for Spring Break. I’ve included a great VIDEO that Skyler took of Syd competing in the Kids Tractor Pull at the Rodeo. I know that you won’t be surprised to learn that Syd beat some of the 8 and 9 year old boys. Good job, Syd!
