If a picture is worth a thousand words you’ll get a library’s worth of knowledge about Sydney and James’ relationship when you see some of these photos!
I gave Syd and James a book about how to tie a bow. As usual, Sydney Marie Stewart took over her role of schoolmarm. She was bound and determined to teach her Kid Brother a thing or two. Get a good look at both of their faces as James is failing in this task. The little guy looks like he’s in agony and Syd won’t give up even when he’s put his head on the pillow! Really, James gets along quite well without being able to tie his shoes since his shoes have velcro, not laces!
Joe Bill and I always have fun when we’re with Gigi, Joel and Jack.
On Sunday the five of us went to the Texas Military Forces Open House/Muster Day at Camp Mabry, where they had Texas National Guard Helicopter demonstrations and a flyover by two World War II vintage planes.
Jack looked a little apprehensive at first when he and Mommy were inside the various aircraft. As time went on, he really got into it and became a ‘Top Gun’ when he sat in the pilot’s seat!
Syd and James had fun playing with Jack outside and inside. The Kids like singing along to some children’s songs on my computer. Joe Bill and I love the fact that they’re great friends. You should watch the 3 short VIDEOS of Syd, James and Jack singing the Bingo song.
Jack loves spraying Syd and James with the hose. In June the three of them are going to take swimming lessons from Coach Gwen. They’re certainly darling water babies!
Sydney and James have been playing in the pool but the other day was the first time that James swam the whole length of our pool. He did great. I think you’ll agree when you see his VIDEO. Even though the water’s cold, James is in the swim of things!
