Bathing beauty Skyler brought future Olympic hopefuls Sydney and Baby James over to swim on Saturday. The kids showed off their newly learned swimming skills. Of course, they both wanted to swim to Mommy. Skyler’s such a great Mom that they both fight over her. I’m sure that there are times when she wishes that SHE was twins!
Skyler and Jimmy were going to a couple of Do512/Jimmy Birthday events so we thought that we’d take Sydney and Baby James out for our own ‘Date Night.’
We dressed up Syd and Baby James in cute UT clothing and headed over to Abel’s on the Lake, our favorite spot. Gigi’s cousin Paige and her husband Ellis own Abel’s and have made it into a fabulous place. It has the best view of Lake Austin and the food is great. We always feel like we’re on vacation when we’re there.
Abel’s was packed with beautiful people, something that didn’t escape Baby James’ notice. It’s clear that Sydney’s Kid Brother is a huge flirt, just like she is.
Joe Bill and Baby James walked around to look at the scenery but from what I could tell they were walking around talking to cute girls. Baby James was waving and smiling at gorgeous girls in bikinis, who were arriving by boat. Joe Bill was more subtle, I hope!
Syd and Baby James had great table manners and didn’t whine one bit. We had lots of fun and plan to go back again soon for another ‘Date Night.’
