Well, no doubt, you know the Big News that UT beat OU 48 to 45 in the most exciting Cotton Bowl Game I’ve ever seen.
Austin ‘Hometown Boys’ UT Quarterback Sam Ehlinger (#11), who graduated from Westlake High School, and ‘Dicker The Kicker’ Cameron Dicker, who graduated from Lake Travis High School, were great.
Sam accounted for 5 Touchdowns (3 Rushing & 2 Passing.) Dicker made the game winning Kick. Longhorn fans went wild!
By the way, Joe Bill has been friends with Sam’s Mom, Jena, who looks like she’s still in college, for more than 20 years as she’s worked at JB’s Law Firm, Vinson & Elkins.
All of our godchildren have Orange Blood! I’ve included cute current pics of them in their UT clothes plus one I took of Syd, James and Jack back in 2015.
James loves playing Baseball and Baby Sammy is one of his biggest fans. It’s cute when Sammy calls his Big Brother “Yames!" I’ve included a short Video of James scoring a run!
Benny, Jack and Syd remain fun loving ‘Water Babies!’ Benny loves squirting them with the hose the same way Jack did it to Syd and James in 2014!
Syd and Jack often do little art projects. Sometimes Jack will ask Syd for some advice, which she’s happy to give.
Jack and Benny always have fun playing Veterinarians. In one shot you’ll see Benny giving his pretend dog a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Exam.
Joel taught Jack Wake Surfing while they were recently at Horseshoe Bay. I’d say that 6 year old Jack was impressive!
The Austin City Limits Festival, commonly called ACL, is happening here. While Jimmy and his successful D0512 business have been very busy, he’s had time for fun too.
Skyler and Jimmy went to see Paul McCartney's spectacular performance in Zilker Park. As it turned out, Gigi and Joel were at the same Concert.
Joe Bill and I could hear McCartney too but we were at HOME. The Concert was so loud that when we sat outside we could hear McCartney and his Band. They sounded great. Luckily, a few years ago we went to see McCartney at the Erwin Center. It was the best Concert we’ve ever seen, bar none.
