Sydney, James, Jack and Baby Ben are darling and have adorable personalities. James has a funny sense of humor. The other day Joe Bill and I picked him up at school, took him to Pinkberry, which is James and Syd’s favorite Yogurt Shop, and then we drove him over to Life Ki-do Martial Arts Studio in the neighborhood.
I asked James: “What kind of clothes do you need for your Martial Arts session?”James told me: “I NEED A DIAPER!” I shot back: “You do?” I was surprised because 7 year old James doesn’t wear diapers. With a big smile on his face James then joked with me telling me: “We’re practicing to be SUMO WRESTLERS!!!” By the way, I’ve included a little Video of James having fun at the Martial Arts Studio.
Syd loves reading to Jack and Baby Ben, something they love too. She spends a lot of time playing with them and often has fun carrying them around. When Syd gets tired she tells me she needs a little ‘alone time.’ Usually, she’ll go into the downstairs bedroom and draw a picture. When Jack realizes that she’s not around he’ll ask me: “Where’s Sydney?" I let him know that she’d like some ‘alone time.’ That’s when he goes to talk to her. Jack then sweetly asks Syd if he can be with her during her ‘alone time.’ Syd always tells him yes. They’re very sweet together.
Baby Ben is on the move these days. He’s improved from scooting along on one leg while dragging the other. He looks really cute. We don’t let him out of our sight. He’s very proud of himself when he pulls himself up.
