Sydney, James, Skyler & Jimmy had a wonderful time on their week long trip to Wyoming. While The Kids were having fun in the snow it was in the 90’s here in Austin! I’ve included some terrific pictures that Skyler and Jimmy took at Jenny Lake and Spring Lake in the magnificent Grand Teton National Park.
When we were babysitting the Melrose Boys the other day, Jack decided to put on his SWAT Team outfit. He looked adorable while he was ‘protecting’ his Baby Brother Ben. I’ve also posted some pictures of Jack with his cute Cousins: Bauer, Hugh and their little Sister June. The Boys are on the Meatball Soccer Team!
Anyone who knows her will agree that B.A. Bentsen is a National Treasure.
The former fashion model is a role model in many ways!
B.A. is extremely smart, gorgeous, gracious, fun, funny, charming, committed to helping others and a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and friend.
Bentsen Family members and friends came in town for the Center for Public Policy Priorities Luncheon because B.A. and her late husband Senator Lloyd Bentsen were being honored as the 2016 Texas Legacies. Lan introduced Keynote Speaker Robert Rubin, who is a longtime family friend and was the Secretary of the Treasury who succeeded Senator Bentsen.
Be sure to watch the wonderful Video about B.A. and The Senator’s many years of impressive public service. One of their accomplishments was philanthropic efforts to create the Bentsen Stroke Research Center at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston.
By the way, CPPP is an Austin based, non partisan, non profit institute that’s committed to helping low and moderate income Texans.
Syd had a chance to spend time with her Grandfather TaTa (Lan) and Grandmother Dell (Adele) as well as her Aunts Kendall and Kate. I appreciate being able to use their pictures. In addition, I included a picture of a fun afternoon that we spent with our friend Peggy Oxford at Maroon Bells, Aspen.
