Gorgeous Sydney was happy about being at this party! Joe Bill and I had fun with Syd, James, her Mommy and her Daddy at our favorite restaurant. We like the food, the atmosphere of being at Lake Austin and the fact that The Kids can have fun feeding the ducks. James kept trying to have some of the dessert! Shoeaholic Sydney was having a hard time one day finding some roller skates that fit her. She reminded me of the popular fairy tale character Goldilocks. It seems that some skates were too tight and some were too loose. Finally, Syd found a pair that was nearly “juuuust right!” Mommy and Daddy hired a nice young lady, who makes animals and other things out of colorful balloons for entertainment. James got to have a couple of balloon creations. But when he asked for a gun, the Hippie looking young lady said that she doesn’t make guns. James kept demanding she make him one. I told James she doesn’t do guns. James took that to mean that she DIDN’T KNOW WHAT A GUN LOOKS LIKE so he told her in very precise terms: “You do a straight line and then you have two little half circles under it!” James, who loves spears, daggers, knives, and swords, never did get a balloon in the shape of a gun.
