Our godkids love playing dress up, especially when it’s for a Holiday. Sydney, our little Actress/Drama Queen, looked great as The Addams Family’s Daughter Wednesday. James decided that he’d be King Of The World while he was Trick or Treating with Collin, his BFF (Best Friend Forever.) Jack wore a Transformer costume to school and Baby Ben was a Skeleton like his Mommy Gigi. Joe Bill dressed up like our good friend Singer Jerry Jeff Walker and I was a Disco Dancer. At the end of everything, James was the perfect Sleeping Beauty!
The other day Syd had lots of fun playing with Jack and Baby Ben at our house. The 7 1/2 months old little darling is always a very happy child, but Baby Ben laughs even more when his Big Brother yells the ABC’s at him.
Saturday was the last Soccer Match for Jack’s Meatball Team. The Kids were proud of their trophies and medals which, of course, reminded everyone of the Olympics!
Jack asked me to take a picture of him with his Teammates and Cousins Bauer and Hugh. Baby Ben loved me getting a shot with Coach/ Mommy Gigi and his ‘Aunt’ Jen. I’ve included a picture of Substitute Coach/ Daddy Joel.

Our godkids, who have plenty of Orange Blood, always love putting on their UT clothes. If Jack isn’t wearing a shirt with Bevo on it when we come over to his house he’ll run into his bedroom and put one on. All of the Kids think that JB’s WHOLE wardrobe consists of UT stuff…which is pretty much true!
Jack loves to eat when he’s at our house. The other day he told Ja-Bill (Joe Bill) that he was great at making Humus and chips but when it comes to other food…not-so-much. He thinks that I’m a great cook which is funny since I never learned how to cook!
Always being polite, in a very sweet voice, flashing his giant brown eyes that make everyone melt, Jack asked me to please fix him some food. I told him that I would right after I finished cleaning the kitchen. Without skipping a beat, Jack suggested: “JA-BILL CAN CLEAN THE KITCHEN SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE ME SOMETHING TO EAT RIGHT NOW!”
By the way, Aussie men are always charming. I’m convinced that they secretly go to Charm School. I’m also convinced that Jack’s already so charming that he doesn’t need to go to Charm School! You guessed it…I made him something to eat right then!
