'Getting In The Swim Of Things!'

Sweet Sammy, who’s 2, had Private Swimming Lessons this week with Coach Gwen Hurst, who’s undoubtedly, Austin's best Swimming Coach for children.

She’s already taught Sydney 12, James 10, Jack 8 & Benny 4. Each of The Kids started with Coach Gwen when they were only 2 years old. She offers 15 minute Private Lessons in 4 consecutive days. On day 4 the Parents come and Gwen explains how they can improve their child’s swimming skills.

Sammy came with his Fan Club: Mommy Skyler, Sister Syd & Brother James. Joe Bill & I love watching The Kids learn how to swim.

Each day I told Sammy that if he did a good job in the pool that I’d give him a present. When each Lesson was over, with a big smile on his face Sammy would run up to me and say: “DeDe, I did good!” He did do a good job, so I gave him a present. I’ve always recommended giving children ‘gifts/bribes' in these situations. I’ve found that it works!

Meanwhile, Jack, Benny, their Parents Gigi & Joel plus Gigi’s Mom Ginger & Dad Don came over to swim one day.

Recently, Jack has beaten his Daddy in a Race at our house. Jack was sure that he could swim faster than Joe Bill, who, by the way, was a Life Guard when he was a teenager when he was growing up in Llano.

Well, Jack did it again! He remains the undefeated champion in our Pool!

Joe Bill & I hope that you and your Family stay well this Summer!

Love, D2
