One afternoon when Joe Bill and I were driving Sydney and James to our house we were talking about some people having funny names.
I pointed out to The Kids that James Hogg, who was Governor of Texas from 1891 to 1895, named his only daughter Ima...which meant that her name was Ima Hogg. There's always been a rumor that he had another daughter he named Ura Hogg, but that just isn't true!
Then I pointed out that a man with the last name of Butt is the Chairman and CEO of H-E-B.
Well, James, who loves 'bathroom humor,' took the name and ran with it. He loves putting words together so he started coming up with names of people and adding that their last name was Butt.
Then James struck gold. With a broad smile on this gorgeous little face he asked: "What happens if their FIRST NAME IS BUTT AND THEIR LAST NAME IS FACE, THEN THEY'D BE BUTT FACE!!!!" The four of us had a good laugh over that!
Talking about faces, when you look at beautiful Syd's face you'll see that she's missing something...one of her front teeth. She's thrilled that the Tooth Fairy left her some money under her pillow. She's been wiggling her other front tooth hoping that she'll make a lot of cash off that one too!
