In this Holy Week of Easter and Passover, an important time for Christians and Jews around the World, we focus on Rebirth as well as the joy of Freedom From Oppression.
Jack, Benny, Syd, James and Baby Sammy are all having fun celebrating Easter.
Jack, who turned 7, and Benny, who turned 3, had a great Birthday Party at a local indoor Trampoline Park. Gigi and Joel decided that a Super Heroes Theme would be perfect for The Boys.
Baby Sammy, wearing a Spider-Man shirt, was there but Syd and James couldn’t come because they were at a school event.
Skyler, Jimmy and The Kids had a fabulous vacation in Costa Rica during Spring Break. I’ve included some cute pictures that they took during their trip.
Emotionally, we’ve all been sad watching the devastating fire in Paris at Notre Dame Cathedral, one of the most famous buildings in World History. The Gothic Catholic Cathedral is located in the heart of Paris. It’s considered the heart of Paris and the center of Western Civilization. The foundation stones were laid in 1163 and it was largely completed in 1260. It’s known for its innovative rib vault, flying buttress plus its enormous and colorful rose windows.
CBS reported that “Notre-Dame stands damaged but defiant after the fire that raged for at least 12 hours. Inside, where the spire collapsed, the alter was buried in debris, but its cross was almost shining and pews were still in place.”
The Cathedral’s most precious relic, the Crown of Thorns, believed to have been worn by Jesus at his Crucifixion, was saved by quick thinking heroes. A brave Chaplain and a human chain rescued some of the Holy relics.
