Joe Bill and I had a Slumber Party the other night with Syd, Jack and Baby Ben. We always have fun together!
By the way, James wasn’t with us because he had a Play Date with a friend.
Syd loves doing Gymnastics moves and she likes teaching Jack how to do some of them. Baby Ben was watching them. Even though he’s only a year old, he was trying to do what the older Kids were doing. He looked adorable!
We enjoy dancing whenever possible. Both Jack and Baby Benny had a great time dancing with Syd. I’ve included a couple of Videos that I think you’ll like.
Syd also enjoys teaching The Boys when she’s with them. This time she and Jack did some Math together.
Syd had a brilliant way to engage the 5 year old. They were both drawing some original designs when she asked Jack: “WILL YOU PLEASE HELP ME WITH MY MATH?” Jack, who’s a smart little guy, jumped at the chance. In fact, he told 9 year old Syd that he knows EVERYTHING about Math. That’s when Syd asked him: “How much is 1,531 plus 4?" Jack was stumped and quickly said: “Let’s keep coloring!” Without missing a beat Syd said: “It’s 1,535. Now let’s do some Math!!!”
We’re always proud of Syd. She's very patient when she’s helping younger children whether it’s with school work or giving them instructions about doing better in sports activities. Also, she encourages them. We had some cute stickers that Syd gave Jack when they were doing the Math problems! That certainly made him smile!
I noticed that Baby Ben is following in the footsteps of his older Brother. Benny likes to clean things. Jack has his own broom, mop and vacuum cleaner. Right now Benny is limited to just using Baby Wipes but it probably won’t be long before he gets his own cleaning items too!
